I’m James, or Jame.
I’m a 24-year-old journalist, artist, and content creator living in Sonoma, California. I stream on Twitch, host two community radio shows, write music, and write about “League of Legends” esports/women’s hockey. I won awards for filmmaking and journalism at Santa Rosa Junior College, where I graduated in 2022 with associate’s degrees in journalism, humanities, and film studies.

- Esports News: I cover two regional “League of Legends” esports leagues — the LCS in North America and the LCK in Korea — and international Riot tournaments. My coverage includes recaps and narrative/statistical analysis (“The Recall”).
- Pop Culture: Formerly exclusive to Patreon, I’ve written articles about topics ranging from “Eraserhead” to the 2019 film “Cats.” I’ve also ranked my favorite vinyl records, my favorite songs of the last three years, and I’m currently in the process of ranking every Final Fantasy soundtrack.
- Jame Mail: Formerly sent out as an email newsletter, Jame Mail is a weekly update on upcoming Twitch streams and radio broadcasts; new content on this site (or others); and additional personal news and anecdotes.
- Jame’s Jumbo Journal (coming soon): I write a periodical blog about pop culture and more; while it also used to be a Patreon exclusive, I’m planning on moving the full JJJ archive to this site and continuing its publication soon.
